There are more than 23,000 vacation rental companies in the United States. Because of crowd sharing sites like Airbnb and VRBO, the market is becoming extremely saturated. Small towns and cities are cracking down on crowd shared rental houses and imposing silly regulations. And if you aren’t careful, you could wind up on the bad side of your local city council. The market is competitive and any mistake you make could sink you. Here are a few things you shouldn’t do if you want to succeed with your vacation rental website. 1. Prior to 2016, I had no clue what SEO was. I used the internet oblivious to the fact Google meddled in our search results. Honestly, if you’d asked me in 2015 how Google worked, I’d probably say “magic.” I type in a question and out comes an answer. Who cares, right? Since then, I’ve become a wise SEO wizard. But if you’re here right now, you’re probably befuddled by SEO. So, I’ve set out to give you a simple and quick cheat sheet on SEO. What Is SEO Anyway? Simply put, search engine optimization is the constant adjustment to hundreds

I was so inspired to be here I gave it my all. If you’re in network marketing, or you’re making sales, or you’re leading an organization, you will have to speak to a crowd. You will be constantly reaching out to deliver your message, whether it’s to 1 person or to 1000 people. It’s a great opportunity to really share your beliefs and inspire others. When you are doing business in a market, being able to command a room and influence ideas is a powerful tool. Of course, you are leading by example. When you walk into a room, you should be the hardest working person there. People from the regular 9-5 don’t get invited to speak to others about success. It’s the grinders, the hard-working people who have become so successful they can’t help but be recognized. I remember my first public speaking event. After countless in-person meetings, quick phone calls, single emails, I spoke in front of a crowd. I had a huge audience who all expected me to blow them away and help change their lives. I was prepared with information, but I was all nerves. The only thing that felt blown away was my stomach. It would have been so easy and comfortable to say “No, I’m ok with my level of success” and not speak, but I pushed passed my nervous barrier. I made the speech, and it felt amazing to have tackled the obstacle and influenced so many people. Today’s blog is about strategies I use when reaching out to my fans and fellow network marketers. It’s about how to be remarkable at public speaking. It’s how an event can go so well you lose your voice, and afterwards, still continue motivate others. I felt like Dana Scully debunking werewolf legends in a cold, dark forest. But it was a sunny day in Walla Walla, Washington when I walked by a store claiming it wasn’t a pot shop. (In Washington that’s always a possibility with anything decorated a medical shade of green.) Curious, I made a right turn and found myself in a particular kind of forest. One filled with crystals and bracelets and water bottles and flip-flops. The place smelled of lavender and pine and the two store reps (a man and wife duo) pounced as soon as my wife and I entered.

Your plans and your goals are how you make your dreams a reality. In 490 B.C, after a great battle between the Athenians and the Persian Empire, a lone soldier ran across the country to announce their victory. He ran over 25 miles back to his leaders. With his last breath, he shouted “Niki (Victory)!” before dying of exhaustion. This solider set the bar so high that he would define people’s lives to this very day. He created The Marathon. That little sticker with 26.2 on it? That belongs to someone who has completed a marathon. That is someone, who in their working life, has devoted their free time, entertainment, and entire lifestyle to train. They set a goal that requires them to run endlessly and diet perfectly only to receive a sticker and some recognition. They’re not super human, the key difference is that they had a dream worth fighting for. They set a goal, made clear, concise plans, and executed until they have achieved Niki. You’re out in the world, and whatever it is you want to do you need to plan well and work hard. Times will come where you need to change how you move forward. Make that day today. Use today to reorganize and keep moving forward. Dreams don’t just happen, you have to engage in consistent action, because what you want tomorrow only happens when work is done today. Work in this moment and as a result, you will always love your future. Plan those actions, achieve your dreams.Make a plan – Work the plan. Set a goal – Achieve the Dream Stay motivated, keep all that hard working coming. One day you’ll have made it all happen.

Sales closing techniques are all about feedback. After you’ve reached out into the world and gathered prospects, it’s time to listen and inform. 99% of of the time, prospects don’t show up and instantly enroll, it requires a little more work than that. They are on the fence, right? They are meeting with you to learn more about what they’re potentially signing up for. They have in interest in what you have to say, now is your chance to use sales closing techniques to seal the deal. I run an organization with over a million customers, and not every prospect is going to see your point and join your cause. Some are going to need more time than an initial meeting. The quality of information, and your ability to give constructive feedback is that makes the difference. In network marketing, these people are not just numbers: they’re leaders in your organization and should be treated that way. They should be given all of the information they need to come off the fence, join your organization, and kick some ass. In this week’s blog, I’m giving away some great details on sales closing techniques – scheduling meetings, reading your prospects, and successfully closing the sale.
